About the Book

Vanessa loves her job as a chiropractor, except sometimes her work takes an unexpected turn…

A Pain in the Neck forms part of the Case Files series of short crime stories from USA Today bestselling author Rachel Amphlett.

My Thoughts

Short, sharp but oh so fun. I really did wonder where this particular story was going. Just when you think that you know, Rachel Amphlett flips the whole thing on it’s head and left me with a very big smile on my face. Did I expect the final outcome? Probably. Did I imagine the method of delivery. Not at all.

There is a reason I don’t do spa days. This is just another tick in the not-on-your-nelly checklist.

About the Book

When Amy boards her flight to Cairns, it’s not by choice.

Because it’s not just the turbulence that’s giving her cause for concern…

Something in the Air forms part of the Case Files series of short crime stories from USA Today bestselling author Rachel Amphlett.

My Thoughts

I really liked this story. Not what I was expecting at all and for such a short book the author kept the suspense and tension on an absolute high. And not just because of the altitude…

The truth stays hidden in plain sight, my suspicions about what was really going on running rampant. But another fab little story that completely satisfied. The author established the characters in record speed and managed a great sleight of hand to pull of a cracker of an ending. A perfect little filler for the quiet moments in your day.
