When Mandie and I started this challenge (and I hesitate to use that word as it has been an absolute pleasure and not a challenge at all) to read, review and feature every single Orenda Books title on the blog by the end of the year, we agreed on a few milestone dates where we wanted to celebrate all things Orenda. To us, celebrate means giveaway.
As today is my birthday, I thought it only appropriate to celebrate by giving away a copy of the three Orenda titles that have been my books of the year over the past three years. The Man Who Died by Antti Tuomainen, The Lion Tamer Who Lost by Louise Beech and Turbulent Wake by Paul E. Hardisty. The first two are even signed by the authors because I hunted them down at the Orenda Roadshows and forced them to sign. I am good that way. Sadly Lockdown prevented me from flying to Australia to get the last one signed though 😉 Now, not only are we giving away all three books, but the winner will also get an exclusive 5 years of Team Orenda bookmark.
Here’s a bit more about the books you could win:

A dark, consuming drama that shifts from Zimbabwe to England, and then back into the past, The Lion Tamer Who Lost is also a devastatingly beautiful love story, with a tragic heart…
Turbulent Wake by Paul E. Hardisty – Read my review HERE
Ethan Scofield returns to the place of his birth to bury his father. Hidden in one of the upstairs rooms of the old man’s house he finds a strange manuscript, a collection of stories that seems to cover the whole of his father’s turbulent life.Available from : Amazon | Waterstones | Kobo | Googleplay | Apple Books
As his own life starts to unravel, Ethan works his way through the manuscript, trying to find answers to the mysteries that have plagued him since he was a child. What happened to his little brother? Why was his mother taken from him? And why, in the end, when there was no one else left, did his own father push him away?
Swinging from the coral cays of the Caribbean to the dangerous deserts of Yemen and the wild rivers of Africa, Turbulent Wake is a bewitching, powerful and deeply moving story of love and loss … of the indelible damage we do to those closest to us and, ultimately, of the power of redemption in a time of change.
