HWA Presents – Partners In Crime @ The Derby Quad

Last Saturday I made the long and arduous journey east from rainy Shropshire to slightly less rainy Derby. When I say arduous, I had to get up early (ish) and drive to Stafford for the train to Tamworth – where I had to change trains!!! (I know – the sacrifices I make for books) – and get on another, entirely different, train to Derby.

Okay so perhaps it wasn’t that arduous, but it was a weekend and I am used to driving which means I basically go from point A to point B with little or no interruption and definitely no changing of vehicles. This is a big thing for me. 😉 The reason for this huge level of commitment? (Did I mention this was on a Saturday morning?) the Stranger HB jacketAbout the Book

Cornwall, 1940.

In the hushed hours of the night a woman is taken by the sea.

Was it a tragic accident? Or should the residents of Penhallow have been more careful about whom they invited in?

In the midst of war three women arrive seeking safety at Penhallow Hall.

Each is looking to escape her past.

But one of them is not there by choice.

As the threat of invasion mounts and the nightly blackouts feel longer and longer, tensions between the close-knit residents rise until dark secrets start to surface.

And no one can predict what their neighbour is capable of . . .

In a house full of strangers, who do you trust?

TPGAbout the Book

Juliette loves Nate. The fact that he’s broken up with her doesn’t change that.

She has a plan to win him back, starting with training as a ight attendant for the airline where he works as a pilot, so she can keep a closer eye on him. Twisting the self-help books she’s read, she takes the mantra ‘in charge of you own destiny’ to new extremes.

She is the perfect girlfriend. And she’ll make sure no one stops her from getting exactly what she wants – the perfect boyfriend, the perfect life, the perfect ending.

Absolutely delighted to be able to take part in the cover reveal for the latest psychological thriller from Louise Jensen, The Date. I loved Louise’s first books and I am thrilled to hear that another is imminent as it sounds like a cracker.

A true advocate of delayed gratification (when it comes to books), I’m going to make you wait a moment longer to see the cover and let you take a sneak peek at what it’s all about. Continue reading “#Cover Reveal: #TheDate Louise Jensen & Bookouture. @Fab_fiction @Bookouture”

ARAbout the Book

This is a story about a city. As with all others, it’s a place of violence. There are murderers, and they live among us.

This is also a tale about a couple — sometimes friends, occasionally lovers, but always partners. Dan and Olivia are fighting modern battles; the ones parents have over a lack of money, time or peace.

An escalating serial killer terrifies the streets and homes. The body count rises as their relationship crumbles. Society reveals its dark side, and no one is safe. Dan and Olivia experience this first-hand as danger closes in.

Will Abel’s reign of terror ever end?

Who will live and who will die?
