This morning I am delighted to be taking part in the cover reveal for the latest Kay Hunter book from Rachel Amphlett. Book 5. Five!!! Can you believe it? Doesn’t seem like five minutes since I was doing my daily walk down to Asda and reading about the Richards’ frantic search for their missing daughter. What a journey we have been on since then.
Kay Hunter is undoubtedly one of my favourite characters of the recent pastand Rachel Amphlett one of my favourite writers. So book five cannot come soon enough. Called – wait for it – A Call To Arms, it is due for release on 11th March and just to whet your appetite for it, lets take a look at what the book is all about.
The Official Book Blurb
Loyalty has a price.
Kay Hunter has survived a vicious attack at the hands of one of the country’s most evil serial killers.
Returning to work after an enforced absence to recover, she discovers she wasn’t the only victim of that investigation.
DI Devon Sharp remains suspended from duties, and the team is in turmoil.
Determined to prove herself once more and clear his name, Kay undertakes to solve a cold case that links Sharp to his accuser.
But, as she gets closer to the truth, she realises her enquiries could do more harm than good.
Torn between protecting her mentor and finding out the truth, the consequences of Kay’s enquiries will reach far beyond her new role…
Call to Arms is a gripping murder mystery, and the fifth in the Detective Kay Hunter series:
- SCARED TO DEATH
- WILL TO LIVE
- ONE TO WATCH
- HELL TO PAY
- CALL TO ARMS
After the fabulous and tense ending to Hell To Pay, I am so excited to see how far Kay has been pushed this time. So shall we take a look at that cover then? Here we go …
Isn’t it a beauty? It’s going to look pretty tidy along side the other four on my kindle, that’s for sure.
