Review: The Mermaids Singing by Val McDermid (@valmcdermid)

So I’m finally being brave and writing up my review for The Mermaids Singing by Val McDermid. I listened to the audiobook practically a year ago, but if you’ve ever read the book then you know it’s not the kind of story that drops from your memory all that quickly and to be honest, as the first book in the Tony Hill/Carol Jordan series, it is one which keeps coming back to mind the more I catch up on all that I have missed.
